In kindergarten, the students break into small groups for reading, math, phonics, and writing.

In kindergarten, the children will recognize the letters of the alphabet and the letter sounds. Students will decode consonant, vowel, consonant words. The students will learn sight words that will improve their reading fluency.

Students will recognize numbers and their value to 30. Kindergarten will work on math skills including addition and subtraction.

Along with reading and math, the kindergarten curriculum includes phonics, social studies, science, writing, and center time.
